The Swing Ride – Elements 11-12

 

Part 1

This was an image that I had thought of deleting but then I had a brainwave!   If we applied one of Elements Filters it could be changed into a painterly effect.  The sky was extremely bland, so before applying the effect we replaced the sky using Blend modes and Masking.

Part 2

Following on from Part 1 in this video we look at applying a painterly effect using a filter in Photoshop Elements in 11– 12.  Some of the tools used include Filters, Blend Modes, and Adjustment Layers.

      Thanks Judi. It wasn’t sharp enough in the right places for what I had in mind and the sky was so bland, but then theres always plan B !!:)
